San Diego-Tijuana Air Quality Task Force

The San Diego/Tijuana Air Quality Task Force will be partnering with San Diego State University and Casa Familiar for this meeting. It will be held during the Health Impacts of Border Crossings Conference 2012 pre-conference activities. There will be a technical workshop with poster presentations from 1-5pm followed by a community meeting from 6-7:30pm. The San Diego/Tijuana Air Quality Taskforce was created under the new U.S.-Mexico Border 2012 Environmental Program. In collaboration with local stakeholders, the task force will identify and prioritize regional air quality issues that affect border communities.

We look forward to your active participation and input. The meeting will include simultaneous interpretation. Tentative dates for future meetings are July 11, 2012.

La reunión pública del equipo de trabajo de la calidad del aire de Tijuana/San Diego se celebrará en conjunto con la Universidad Estatal de San Diego y Casa Familiar como parte de las actividades anteriores de Impacto en la Salud del Cruce Fronterizo Conferencia 2012. Habrá un taller técnico con presentaciones de carteles científicos desde la 1:00pm a 5:00pm. Luego sigue una reunión de la comunidad de 6:00pm a 7:30pm. El Equipo de Trabajo de la Calidad de Aire de San Diego/Tijuana fue creado bajo el nuevo Programa Ambiental Frontera 2012 de EE.UU. y México. Este equipo de trabajo trabaja en colaboración con interesados locales para identificar y dar prioridad a cuestiones regionales de la calidad del aire que afectan a las comunidades de la frontera.

Esperamos con anticipación sus ideas y participación. La reunión contará con traducción simultánea. Fechas tentativas para próximas reuniones serán el 11 de julio 2012.
